FAQ

The Analyst Program is a two-year opportunity for emerging talent to work alongside our investment team, diving into the full spectrum of early-stage venture capital activities.

The program will be based in London for the first year (starting in March 2025), with a hybrid onsite working model. During their second year, analysts will have the chance to relocate/travel around the world to engage with and support founders.

Yes, we will provide UK visas for any analysts who require sponsorship while in London.

Yes, you will receive a generous salary that is commensurate with other top-quartile VC analyst roles in London. The salary will be standardized for all analysts, with a cost of living adjustment after the first year. Our goal is to eliminate financial stability as a concern for you during this program, allowing for full immersion into the work itself.

The Analyst Program is a two-year commitment.

We believe that one year is enough time to gain the basic knowledge and exposure needed to understand investing. We see the second year as an opportunity to apply that knowledge, develop your own theses, and operate more autonomously as an investor. This is where the majority of learning will happen, and we want to be there for it.

We’re looking for intellectually curious individuals with 1-3 years of work experience. Ideal candidates are those who are highly independent, proactive, and have a deep interest in startups and the VC space. VC experience is not required for this role.

We intend to hire two analysts for the inaugural term of this program.

If we are interested in moving forward with your candidacy, you will hear back from us by December 7th. From there, we’ll continue with the interview process, which will include:

  • An introductory call.
  • A take-home case study assignment.
  • 2-3 additional calls with Hummingbird team members.

We expect to have all hiring decisions made by the end of January 2025.
